My children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Church activities, exercise, gardening, reading, occasional travel, and a little real estate.
I did not graduate from Commerce High School. I attended Edison Junior High from 1955-1958. I moved from Champaign the end of the 1958, 9th grade year. I am posting my profile in hopes to reconnect with some of the grads of the class of 1961 that I attended EJHS with. I was married in 1964 and divorced in 1993. My first husband died in an auto accident three years after the divorce. While married to him, he graduated with a Bachelors, Masters and PHD. While I raised our 3 daughters, I took one course at a time and finally graduated with a Bachelor of Science in 1977. I started my own Real Estate Company in 1981, sold it in 2000 to take care of a dear friend 24/7 for 13 months that was diagnosed with terminal cancer. I then returned to Real Estate with the new owner of my company. I married my true love in 2007. In 2009 I was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer and not given much hope. With my husband's help plus God, prayer, laughter, positive thinking, and exercise I have passed my two year anniversary. My Oncologist says I am his miracle patient. I just finished my quarterly testing and they find no active cancer in my body! God is good all the time! I will not be at the reunion, because we will be at my husbands 50th HS reunion in Red Lodge, MT. I hope to hear from some of my lost classmates! |

Be kind and laugh.
We try to be careful so we keep our old bodies in good shape (no falls, etc.) We like to keep in touch with friends both near and far. We are OLD home-bodies and don't travel much (maybe drive to Savoy to go to Walmart!!!) I don't like to clean or cook - and don't know many ladies that like to either. 9/1/2018 |
